Speeding up the roll-out of sustainable mobility innovations!
About FastTrack
FastTrack helps cities accelerate the roll-out of sustainable mobility innovations through knowledge-exchange and capacity building.
It works with 24 urban and peri-urban areas to help them accelerate their deployment of sustainable mobility innovations. This work revolves around four topical clusters, each led by an Ambassador City. Throughout its learning programme – featuring a bottom-up needs assessment, e-learning opportunities, and Capacity Building Weeks – FastTrack brings its community of local areas together with experts and solution providers to overcome the barriers to innovation deployment.
FastTrack is currently accepting applications for those who wish to be part of its Pool of Suppliers to support the project’s 24 local areas in their work to speed up the roll-out of locally-effective sustainable mobility innovation.
Those with profound and traceable expertise who wish to offer services to the FastTrack Innovation Community are invited to complete an online application form, and to submit their applications by Saturday, 30th October 2021, 17:00 Brussels time (extended deadline!).
Why should you apply?
Successful applicants will be given networking and partnering opportunities with the FastTrack Innovation Community. This Community brings together a wide range of mobility contexts from urban, peri-urban and rural areas all across Europe.
Additionally, FastTrack Suppliers will be able to participate in dedicated sessions during one or more of the five FastTrack Capacity Building Weeks, as well as online follow-up meetings. Finally, and on a case-by-case basis, FastTrack will be able to reimburse Suppliers for the support they provide.
Who should apply?
Suitable Suppliers should be prepared to offer advice and innovative services to the FastTrack Innovation Community.
In order to join the Pool of Suppliers, you must have profound and traceable expertise in one or more of the following topics:
- Urban Logistics & Clean Fuels
Promoting energy-efficient urban logistics and new methods for goods distribution that contribute to better overall urban transport and creating travel options that utilise cleaner, more fuel-efficient vehicles and alternative fuels. Following a holistic view of the mobility system for people and goods, including walking and cycling. For more information, please click here. - Public Transport
Improving the quality and efficiency of public transport, better integration with other modes, and finding new ways to get around the city. For more information, please click here. - Multi-modal Traffic Management
Improving traffic conditions through better coordination, traveller information, developing safe and secure roads for all users, and managing parking. For more information, please click here
