ENTRANCE engages with a critical mass of active solution providers, buyers, and investors on the ARRIVAL Matchmaking Platform and offers complimentary capacity-building online training events and webinars for ARRIVAL users and other stakeholders from the transport and mobility sectors. Through these activities, ENTRANCE establishes commercial contacts through brokerage events to boost the market uptake and scale-up of transport and mobility solutions.
The following events will be arranged:
Online training and brokerage events between solution providers and buyers to facilitate the uptake of innovative transport and mobility solutions. These events will include the following activities:
- The first session of these events will be a training webinar that will cover one of the following areas that are considered important to provide knowledge to the platform users, boost the scaling up, and facilitate the environmental assessment of innovative transport solutions:

- How to make an elevator pitch to present a transport and mobility solution?
- How to make an economical and environmental assessment of a transport and mobility solution?
- Access to finance for scale-up and uptake of innovative transport and mobility solutions.
- Pitches from the selected solution providers from the Open Innovation Competition.
- Brokerage sessions with one-to-one meetings between solution provider-buyers or buyer-buyer (to boost purchase aggregation).
Face-2-Face brokerage events targeted investors. These events will include:
- Poster exhibition in which all interested solution providers will have a chance to showcase their solution.
- Pitches from the selected solution providers from the Open Innovation Competition.
- Brokerage sessions with one-to-one meetings between solution provider-buyers, buyer-buyer, investor-buyer, and investor-solution providers.
- Networking opportunities.
Before each of the ENTRANCE events, an ENTRANCE Open Competition will be arranged to select 8-10 innovative zero-emission transport solution providers that will be awarded the following benefits:
- The possibility to present their transport solution in a pitch during the brokerage events.
- Individualised and personalised financial advice.
The open call for interest for this competition will be launched 3 months before each event and solution providers will have one month to submit their application. Subsequently, a transparent and fair selection process will take place to select the winners of the competition considering the business case, financial aspects, and technical solution aspects of the solutions. Training webinars to present the relevant European funding programmes. A minimum of 3 webinars will be organised about European Innovation Council (EIC), Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and European Investment Bank (EIB) funding opportunities. Others may be arranged if considered relevant during the execution of the project. Public and online training videos will be made available to all users of the ARRIVAL platform.
